On November 17, 2008, the U.S. Department of Labor
released the first revision of the Family and Medical Leave Act since
its enactment in 1993. As expected, the new rules also incorporate
the military leave laws which were enacted in early 2008.
The new regulations went into
effect on January 16, 2009 and the updated laws have been incorporated
into our Federal Labor Law Posters. |
